Showcasing the Living Culture and Pride of the Ondo People

At Ondo Ekimogun Dynamic Club (OEDC), events are not just gatherings β€” they are expressions of heritage, unity, and pride. We are at the heart of preserving and celebrating the timeless traditions of the Ondo Kingdom, through annual festivals, cultural rites, and social impact initiatives.

Ekimogun Day Festival (Proudly Initiated by OEDC)

Ekimogun Day is the crown jewel of Ondo’s cultural calendar, founded and championed by OEDC to unify sons and daughters of Ondo across the world. Held annually in December, this festival features:

  • A majestic parade of indigenes in full regalia

  • Traditional dance, music, and folklore

  • Royal appearances by the Osemawe of Ondo Kingdom and his chiefs

  • Cultural competitions and talent showcases

  • Civic awards, community development initiatives, and youth engagement

Ekimogun Day is more than a festival β€” it is a global call to all Ondo people to reconnect with their roots, give back to their community, and pass on the legacy of our ancestors.
